Mold Golf Club is an award winning, friendly welcoming club with a challenging course and absolutely stunning views. With over 100 years of golfing excellence, the award-winning Mold Golf Club, Flintshire, offers unrivalled views of the stunning Welsh countryside, a thought-provoking course and a warm welcome. The 18 hole uplands course lies in the shadow of Moel Famau in the Clwydian Range – “the gateway to rural Wales’ and an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.” From the higher part of the course, some 850 feet above sea level, a colourful panorama opens out. To the north you will see the Halkyn Plateau, Dee Estuary and Chester with the Wirral and Merseyside beyond. Eastward offers extensive views over many miles of the Cheshire Plain and on to the Peak District. On a clear day the view from the 10th fairway is second to none. Facilities include a practice ground, chipping area, putting green, a well-stocked pro shop and a welcoming clubhouse, restaurant and bar with full catering.

Our Adventures group is for people who like to put the “active” in “activities”! We aim to promote activity ideas and different ways of exploring the great outdoors, anything from walks in the country, biking, and hiking… to more adventurous pastimes such as abseiling, climbing, paddle-boarding, and canoeing and anything in-between! Many of the adventures we promote are in and around North Wales, but they can be anywhere in the world… we have many ‘Friends of Outside Lives’ who have either undertaken fundraising or personal adventures across the globe! It really is a group for anyone who has a passion for the outdoors - whatever your age or ability.
